Bernadette - stylist and owner
“All I ever wanted —even as a toddler—was to do hair.
“When I was young, if I was getting annoying, my parents would give me a hairbrush and I'd be quiet for hours. My dolls never had clothes but they had perfect hair.
“I started going to night school for hair at 15, I graduated from there as a professional hair style at the same time I graduated high school at 18 years old.
I learned quickly that the difference between a good haircut and a bad one is the shape: clients are paying for what you leave on, not what you take off. A good shape is everything!
“I truly love seeing people happy with what they look like, to have them trust me. When they're comfortable in my chair I've done my job. I enjoy the range of people I get to work with: teen boys, grandparents who bring their grandchildren, first job out of college. As long as I'm doing hair, I'm happy.
“I have a diverse client group, some travel here from Boca, Weston, and Hollywood. I have clients who save up to come here and clients who drive Rolls-Royces.
Everyone is welcome here!”
